Diploma in Elementary Education(DEl.Ed.) programme aims at preparing the enrolled candidates to become teachers in primary/ upper primary schools. The D.El.Ed Course is having total 4 semesters that includes Theory along with Practical training and Internship
The eligibility to enroll in D.EL.Ed course in Kerala is minimum 50% marks in any of the following
1. Pre Degree from any university in Kerala or Equivalent Qualification.
2. Plus Two from Higher Secondary Board , Kerala or Equivalent qualification approved by Govt. of Kerala. ( Candidates should check the details given in notification)
The lower age limit is 17 years as on July 1, and the upper age limit is 33 years as on July 1.
